BUP Admission Test Circular 2024 Details:
There are only 4 Unit of BUP admission test in this year. These are:
- Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS)
- Faculty of Business Studies (FBS)
- Fa. Of Security and Strategic Studies (FSSS)
- Faculty of Science and Technology (FST)

Details of application for admission in Faculty of Arts and Social Science Unit of BUP 2024:
All students of Arts, Commerce and Science can apply in BUP’s Faculty of Arts and Social Science Unit.
And every student must pass the HSC examination in year 2022 or 2023.
Different qualifications are required for all Science, Arts and Commerce students for admission in this unit of BUP admission 2024. Such as:
- For Science: SSC + HSC should be 9 points in total, And in SSC or HSC it cannot be less than 4.50 points.
- For Commerce: SSC + HSC combined will take a total of 8.50 points; And in SSC or HSC it cannot be less than 4 (four) points.
- For Ars or Humanities: SSC + HSC must have a total of 8 points, And in SSC or HSC it cannot be less than 4 (four) points.
And if someone passes from abroad or any other curriculum – they have to fulfill certain conditions must.
In this social science or social science unit of BUP admission, a total of 100 marks MCQ examination has to be given.’

This unit of BUP has many good subjects for doing honors.
However, if anyone gets less than A- in English and Economics in SSC or HSC examinations, he / she will not be able to give English and Economics subject choice.
Details of application to BUP’s Faculty of Business Studies Unit 2024:
All students of Science, Commerce and Ars can apply in BUP’s Faculty of Business Studies Unit.
- For Science, SSC + HSC should be 9 points in total; And in SSC or HSC it cannot be less than 4.25 points.
- Commerce will require a total of 8.50 SSC + HSC combined; And in SSC or HSC it cannot be less than 4 (four) points.
- For Humanities students, SSC + HSC combined should be a total of 8.50 points, and in SSC and HSC it cannot be less than 4 (four) points.
There will be given questions from Mathematics, English and General Knowledge. And there will be no question from Bengali in BUP admission 2023.
There will be a total of 100 questions. All 100 questions will be MCQ type questions.

Mathematics – 35
English – 35
General knowledge – 30
Application details in the Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies Unit at BUP admission 2024:
All students will be apply in Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies Unit of BUP admission according to circular 2024.
- For Science, SSC + HSC combined should be a total of 8.50 points; And in SSC or HSC it cannot be less than 4 (four) points.
- For Commerce, SSC + HSC combined will take a total of 8.25 points; And in SSC or HSC it cannot be less than 3.75 (four) points.
- For Humanities, SSC + HSC must have a total of 8 points; And in SSC or HSC it cannot be less than 3.75 points.
This unit has a total of 4 subjects. These are IR, Law, Journalism and Human Rights.
Of these, IR, Law and Journalism – to get these 3 subjects, you must get a total of 9 points from Science and at least 4 points in SSC or HSC, Total 8.5 points from Commerce and minimum 4 points from SSC or HSC; And a total of 8.25 from Arts and a minimum of 4 points in SSC or HSC.
For admission 2024 in this Security and Strategic Studies Unit of BUP, one has to pass 100 marks.
There will be 100 MCQ questions. Questions will be given from English, Bengali and general knowledge.

Details of application in BUP Faculty of Science and Technology Unit 2024:
Only science students can apply and take the exam at BUP’s Faculty of Science and Technology Unit.
- For this unit, Candidates from Science Group must obtain GPA 5.00 in both SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations.
This unit has a total of 3 subjects. These are ICT, Computer Science and Environmental Science.
Distribution of exam numbers of BUP admission 2024:
There will be a total of 80 numbered questions but you have need to answer of 60 only. All questions will be MCQ type questions.
Questions will be given from Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English in BUP admission 2024.

Mark distribution and Merit Position list Process system of BUP Admission Test 2024:
- From MCQ test = 70%
- From Viva = 10%
- HSC Result = 10%
- SSC = 10%
Written exam is very important for a candidate to get admit BUP. Because, there are 70% marks in written exam (MCQ type exam).
